The ZONE diet

This is my perfect diet. The only diet plan I highly recommend that I won’t likely break rules. This is an easy to follow diet plan that requires no memorization of calories and fats content. The Zone diet only needs your hand and your thumb to measure your food. Some diet plans are easier said than done but this Zone diet can be done really by the measure of your hand and thumb.

No meal or snack is forbidden because the diet plan actually targets your body’s insulin production in an accurate balanced ratio of 40% carbohydrates, 30% fat and 30% protein. The combination allows dieters to obtain energy from carbohydrates rather than protein or fat to allow the body to exhibit optimum performance.

Zone diet introduced the Eyeball method measuring carbohydrates, fats and proteins using your hand. The amount of protein must be measured by the palm of your hand. In each meal you may consume protein equal to the size and thickness of your palm. You may measure carbohydrates by curling your hands into two loose fists but allow only a fistful if it is a less favorable carbohydrate containing high levels of sugar. The most exciting part is fats. Measure fat intake by the size of your thumb! Ouch… don’t extend your thumb lol. Try to live with your measure and you see life extensions ahead.

BTW if you are going to use your plate for the measurement of your food portions, I am telling you to stop and use your hand.

Plates differ in sizes unless you buy that diet plate I read somewhere in the web costing $30 a plate. Your hand is more likely to measure constantly. You gain weight and you lose weight but your hand is proportional to your body structure and to your food portion Zone diet needs. I hope you understand what I mean by proportionate measures of food portion with hand over diet plates.
